Addison Law PLLC was created in April of 2018 by David W. Addison, Esq. to provide quality legal services to a community in need. Attorney Addison was a captain with the Durham Police Department in Durham, North Carolina until he was selected to be the Chief of Police in Statesville, North Carolina in February of 2019. In August of 2022, he retired after several decades of service to the community as a law enforcement leader and other leadership volunteer positions.

Attorney Addison has an Associates Degree in Engineering Science, a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and a Juris Doctor in Law. He attended law school at North Carolina Central University's School of Law and graduated in May of 2016. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in August of 2016.
